Amaroo Holiday Flats are primarily for the use of Australian Defence Force Members (ADF) and their families to be able to have a holiday at an affordable price at one of the most beautiful locations in Far North Queensland.
Whilst the apartments are primarily for the use of active Serving Members, the use of these apartments is also extended to Reservists, Defence civilians, Australian Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Ambulance, SES), Overseas Defence Force Members, Ex-Serving Members, Retired Members, War Widow's, TPI's, Vietnam Vets, National Servicemen etc.
You will not find the privacy and seclusion offered by this budget accommodation anywhere else on the island. Amaroo Holiday Flats are privy to a variety of local wildlife, including Kookaburra's, Rainbow Lorikeet's, Wallabies & Possums.

Holiday Flats are situated on the hillside of Geoffrey Bay, Arcadia. These
fully furnished holiday flats offer magnificent views. The flats are self-clean and you must bring your own linen & towels.
The
flats are close to shops and the hotel at Arcadia, just a 5 minute walk
away. Passenger and car ferries operate regularly between Townsville and
Magnetic Island. It is recommended that you book the car ferry well in advance!
